Friday Audio Quest

A Break from school resulted in an audio quest with a mate.

Background on Stereo ^^; – Stereo Electronics is a awesome place to audition headphones, in ear monitors and all other types of earphones. They have a very large arsenal of poison to kill any type of person you can throw to them. Some of the phones are so Toxic that you feel that all the other phones/sound producing device sounds really crappy.

This is what makes the SPL Head Amps so special - The 120v Rail.

Basically, the Auditor is like the scaled down version of the Phonitor. (Without the Vortex of massive sound recreation)

Love the Vents. Great for ochestra music. I don't listen to Ochestra though.

The K 702 is the Older Bro of the K 701 - Mio's Headphones.

Both of them have the same Drivers… only difference is the Removable cable and the color.

After Stereo, we headed over for lunch and then to Jaben Networks.

Background on Jaben ^^; – Jaben Networks is yet another awesome place to audition Earphones. They have some stuff that Stereo does not have… like a full range of Beyer Dynamics Headphones (DT 770, DT 880 and more). They are also one of the rare shops in the world left which you can get the Sennheiser HD 414. Jaben does not have Ultrasones which Stereo has and that’s the reason why we need to dash through and fro the area (Luckily they are both located in the city and is within walking distance).

Well, the purpose of going to Jaben on this Wet and Rainy day…

This pair of babies are electrostats… My first time hearing electrostats >_<
They come with a really nice warm and fuzzy feeling which is really not found anywhere else.
I guess its due to the unique nice warm fuzzy sound that results in the price being so extravagant.

Well, after a day of walking and listening, its time for some rest!
